Pay Matrix Level 10: The 7th Pay Commission was implemented by the Central Government of India in 2016, the 7th Pay Commission introduced a new pay structure for central government employees including military personnel. There is a total of 18 levels in this pay structure, of which level 10 is one of them. Salary Calculation in Pay Matrix Level 10

The salary calculation formula in the 7th Pay Commission’s pay matrix is as follows –

Basic Pay = Minimum Pay of the Level + (Multiplication Factor × Years of Service in that Level)

• Minimum Pay of the Level = The minimum pay of the relevant level in the pay matrix.
• Multiplication Factor = A number determined by the 7th Pay Commission that increases based on the level in the pay matrix.
• Years of Service in that Level = The number of years the employee has served in that particular level.
